Udwarthanam (sarvangam/ardhangam)

Udwarthanam is a process in which the whole body is rubbed by using herbal fine powders. Unlike other therapies, the strokes are done upwards against the direction of hair follicles.  This is meant for better lymphatic drainage and thereby reduces the water collection in the body. This therapy is effective in combating obesity and removing toxins, as well as for firming and toning the body.
